February's Drupal Drinks in Edinburgh will be another Drupal 8 sprint.
There will be plenty of people there who aren't Drupal 8 experts (or even necessarily hardcore programmers) - for example you can help test that a patch fixes an issue.

Rather than kicking off in the Heehaw offices, this time we'll head straight for The Standard, just up the road from Heehaw. Please keep an eye on this post though, for confirmation of location: they're currently having renovation work, so I'll book us in and ensure they'll be offering food etc at that time.
