We have an opportunity for a Website Developer, working within the busy Marketing Team at GFI MAX in Dundee to assist with the creation and maintenance of multiple Drupal and Wordpress websites used to promote our products and communicate with customers, distributors and partners.
Duties include:
- Creation of new CMS-based websites
- Updating existing websites with new features
- Maintenance of existing CMS-based websites to maintain security and performance levels
- Responsive front-end website development (HTML5, CSS3, Javascript)
- Design of web-based material such as website pages, landing pages, and website banners.
Required:
- 2+ years PHP or other significant programming experience
- 2+ years front-end development experience
- 1+ years recent Drupal experience
- 1+ years recent Wordpress experience
- Awareness of SEO and UX principles
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Solid understanding of agile development principles
- Online portfolio of recent website work
Desirable:
- Familiarity with common Drupal functionality including multi-site, multi-language, Views, Panels, Context, Media, Display Suite, Workbench
- Familiarity with LESS or SASS
- Experience writing and releasing Drupal modules and/or themes
